    built me a set of traction bars

    Well after looking over DUMPD04's thread about his bars he had made i figured id give it a shot. I cut the brackets out of 3/16'' steel on our waterjet at school. Then ordered the tubing and the heim joints, jam nuts, and rod ends from ebay. It took me about a day or so to get it all fabbed and welded up, and let me tell you the truck feels sweet with them now! Here are some pics

    Looks good. With no overload springs I bet you had a real bad time with keeping the tires on the ground.

    well i had the overload spring but i took it off so it wouldnt be hitting the bars. Zero axle wrap and zero wheel hop now

    I bet. Might put you some spring clamps on there too, to make the springs stronger.

    i might try that red. and honostly i wouldnt have a clue how to make a set for your lifted truck lol, kinda would have to have it in front of me, you know

    the drop on the eyebolt side would just have to be larger. I could give ya measurements

    depending on the drop, yes.

    Basically I just have a extra leaf, and 5.5" spacer between axle and rearend. So either a 6" drop on the eyebolt side, or slightly longer rod would be necessary lol

    they look nice,thats next for me.how much did u spend on material??i mite just get the cal tracs,not sure
