We've got some in 1000+ HP combos out there. We build our basic unit the same hydraulically as the big power units other than a slight difference in overall pressure.
The big power units just get the hard parts upgrades.
We've developed a spragless design that is being daily driven right now for testing.
This and a billet OD carrier should put the 4L80E into the 2000 HP capable territory.
