hey guys hows it going ? im new to the truck seen, so please excuse the simple questions i am about to do a swap into my truck idont know which motor ls1 or 6.0 but if i put a 6.0 can i use a 4l60e thats in my truck already

You could use the 60E with the 6.0, however I would say that the 60E is not going to last very long at all. The 60E has a hard enough time holding up to the 4.8 and the 5.3, the 6.0 is just to much for it. Now keep in mind I am not a expert. However I did destroy a 60E in my 03 sierra and it only had a 5.3 with bolt ons.

hey. a 5.7 will do well. also a lq4 or 9 will also fair well.either will be a good swap. and the 60e will fail when hp begins to rise. i think it all depends on how much hp you are going to be pushing.
