I installed punch 300.1's for one, Punch 600.1's for two all the time and both me and the customer were very happy. That tacoma sounded incredible, built a few cc chevy's with both dual sealed and single ported and they too sounded great. No need in 500.1 when the 300.1 generally runs close to 500 according to birth certificates.

Is that a new Rockford model I guess? What I have found with Rockford amps is that the punch series amps are under rated by 150-200 watts and the power series amps are under rated by 200-275 watts. The birth sheet on my power 500.1 was 735 watts RMS at 1 ohm . I would expect a 325.1 to push arond 450 watts rms.

Yep, Rockford's are overbuilt! 450+ out of a 325.1 sounds about right. That's the older model, right? My Power1000 rated at 50x4 does 108x4!

I have mb quart shallow subs in my ecsb. With a 1000W amp pushing them. They sound good to me. I am not looking to wake up the damn block just looking to make the bass match the sound of the doors. Lo-lyf have you done the big three upgrade? If so could you post up how you did it.

I don't guess I have unless we are calling it something different. Fill me in, I'm stumped.

Bigger wiring on the electrical side?

    1) Battery negative to chassis
    2) Alternator to battery positive
    3) Chassis to engine

    Easily done, use 0 gauge.

Make sure to fuse the alternator to battery positive. Its better to be safe than sorry.

What he said. I have done such upgrades on some vehicles with high powered systems. Dual battery setups, triple battery setups, dual alternator setups, some good 0 awg will do you good. I never really messed with adding bigger wire unless I was adding more power but it couldn't hurt.

Nearly 500 watts over is pretty sweet. I've always liked kickers amps, I had a little 400.1 in my explorer that said it maxed around mid-500's.
