    Hey, it's the members site, I just use it

    btw, after all the bs that we went through with comp cam, your cam finally shipped today! They must have lost the order, but they called today and they are drop shipping directly to you; it should be only a few more days; thanks for being patient about it, we placed the order the same day you did with us.

    Anyone wanna bet I can overwrite my locked tune and put my Denali back in the 16's?

    There has to be enough support for the test so I can pay for the shipping to get another mail order or Allen can just give me one of his sweet tunes free.

    I'll try it if everyone wants to know but I want something for the education of everyone else LOL. Y'all can even watch me do it if you think I'll lie

    I appologized to charlie about this and I am not saying he sucks at tuning, that'd be a huge lie. I know he's very good, but I am just upset at how my truck is (isn't) running currently. I vented all my anger from the track out on here and I should have thought it out more. Again, I'd like to say that he has contacted me and I just got mad because the response time can be slower than I'd like. Have a good night all!

    Try it and see , that would dispel any myth about locking PCMs , and if you want I will lock one with EFILive and you can try it as well (I can reflash mine for free) !
    Now what is a tune again?

    Comp Cam 54-412-11 , Int:265, 212, .522 , Exh: 271, 218, .529 , LSA 114 , Longtube , CAI (Vararam) , TransGo HD2 shift kit , tuned by me with EFILive

    Any time after Tuesday of next week .
    I am pretty confident that you can not flash it seeing the boot loader is shut out and any attempt will be rejected .

    Ok, try it. But I'm telling you, I use the TIS web stuff too, what happens is the TIS stuff can't begin to write it. It recognizes it, just like the obd2 scanner can, but when it tries to write, it just fails.

    Anyone that has written over our tune when going to the dealer didn't have a locked pcm.

    There is no myth about this to me, I know it can't be done, with the tools I use. If it could, I wouldn't require that customers send in a stock or unlocked pcm as a core return, when they don't, we have to charge $55 because the pcm is useless.

    Here's what I'll do, I'm going to send you a stock , newly flashed PCM that has a stock 2002 Camaro OS, GM's latest.
    Then, feel free to flash it with any 2001/2002 GMtruck/suv/fbody file you want.
    I'll help, here's a 2002, 4.8L Silverado vin to use: 1GCEC14V02Z136510

    If you're using the same tools as I am, which you said you are, TIS, you won't be able to flash it.

    So, if it doesn't work, what are you giving me, besides knowledge I already know, lol!?

    I think you're just trying to get a tune so you can have two of them, hahah!
