    I've got a like new 4L65E for sale. Came from an Escalade that was smashed... so it's a 4x4 unit if you have to ask.

    I was going to build then and just swap into the Z, but plans changed so I'm selling it as I have no use for it now.

    Asking $1600 delivered in the lower 48, OBO No bull**** $500 offers, so **** off. I'm somewhat flexible so don't hesitate to ask and send me an offer. Local pickup is okay and will drop price.

    But I can get a reman unit for $1500! Okay, buy that then and risk your luck with a rebuild without any goods! BUT - This has the updated GM sungear shell, REAL GM five pinion planets, revised valve body, additional 3-4 (direct) clutch, modified drum/input shaft assembly, etc. Totally stock, never abused. Toss in a TransGo and off you go.

    is the t-case a awd or 4x4?

    Just take off The Transfer Case I think. or you could find an escalades front end and rob parts to make your truck awd david... then you would get rid of most of your traction problems

    2wd and 4wd have different output shafts...additionally the vss for the 4wd unit is on the transfercase rather than the tailshaft fyi
