    2002 1500HD 6.0L Cam Specs and Help

Is there any chance someone would have the factory cam specs for this motor? I've done some searching on several sites and having a hard time finding it.

Also....What cam do any of the other 4x4 towing guys recommend for the 6.0L. I plan on this becoming my daily driver so I'm wanting a butt load of TQ down low...but would also like some more upper rpm power for when I'm not towing and just running it a little harder than normal. He actually suggested that I just put the MP on there and leave it alone. What are your thoughts on this.

I had full intentions of building a larger cubed LSX and putting a MP122 on....but now after talking to Magnuson...he's telling me the 122 won't support a large motor and that a 6.0 or 383 is about it's effective limit. So I'm more or less just going to stick to that size he suggested...but need a little advice on what some of you guys have done and what has really worked for you. Kind of hoping someone out there has done something and maybe even rwhp dyno'd there setup. I'm not sure how many MP blower guys there are on here....but if your here....please chime in with your experience.

If I can't get satisfactory performance out of the 6.0L then I suppose I can always go with the LSX and use a turbo for the upper power. Just really wanted to keep it simple this time for the power adder. I'd really like to get this truck to a minimal in the low 13's.

Any and all help is appreciated....I'm not use to trying to build something like this. Everything else I've ever built has been in the search for high end HP. I'm not use to trying to keep the low end tq at the same time.

As for the stock cam: 207/196 .479/.467 116LSA
You should just build your 6.0L. It can handle a lot. Do a CAI, LT headers, ORY, cam, valve springs, pushrods, efans, 80mm TB, 122, meth, and a TC. After you do that, you will be able to tow anything you want! As for your new cam: Vinci 045 or do the Comp cam.
