Yes the ls6 cam is super super mild cam. It's a nice budget cam, but going bigger is better up to a certain point and this also depends on your goals. LS6 cam is a sleeper cam, but turbo trucks aren't exactly sleepers.

Depends on the build, but if I were building a 5.3 turbo truck I would go 215/215 .581/.581 LSA115. However, I am no expert and that's just what I would do. In all reality if it makes power NA it will make power under boost. I like mild cams for turbo builds.

I really dig my TU1 cam from speedinc. Its 225/225 .581/.581 113lsa. great low end torque, great lope, and screams midrange and up top

    LS9 cam.

Spools my 91mm on stock 5.3 with 317s just fine. 20 psi for low boost LOL.

Maybe the best budget cam for gen IV motors.

There is a very small amount of lag at low rpms, but that works for me. I can foot brake in 2nd gear at 50mph & get 10psi built up. I can build boost on the line too, so lag is a very misleading and misunderstood term IMO.

And at $120 shipped, NEW from GM, that cam is the best budget cam. Yes, you have to swap front covers, but that is no big deal.
