I know I am digging this one up from almost 2 years ago now, but I was thinking about getting a Dmax for business reasons. I was looking at 06's as had been suggested as the best. Holy crap people want like 25k for most any of these trucks with less than 150,000 miles. Anyone think these trucks are over priced considering they are about 5-7 years old now? I expected more like 16-20k not 20-30k....

It all depends where u are and who u deal with, I found a 06 with 30k miles for just 29k, also the best engine is the lbz (vin 8th digit will be a D) and is found in later 06 models and 07 classic models. I have found fully loaded 08 with 100k miles for 28k, but I lost both of them because I wasn't fast enough in convincing my wife. Like everyone else as said, it costs more up front and more to maintan, but will last a very long time if u take care of it.
