    ... Well Nate I dont see how it makes us look bad...
    I feel the advise that is being given is
    1. How to make a 10 sec truck... that will ALWAYS beat his brother...
    2. How to drop a 12 sec truck for cheap and perhaps beat his brother.
    3. Letting him know that once he starts turning wrenches and adding power it will quickly take over his free time ending up like the rest of us always questing for a new personal best.... and inturn leaving him broke....

    I think "needing" to put a high dollar turbo system, etc. on just to beat an L is sad. As far as DD's go I saw 1st hand it doesn't take that much when we had the meet at Ennis. Sure, if you wanna DD that does 11's reliably maybe one does need to spend $10-15K but just to outrun an L one might need to spend $2K.
