I hate to beat a dead horse here, but out of curiosity (cause I didn't actually know the protocol for such a situation), I followed the link on this forum to rules for IHRA tracks. Regarding the luv truck......

The race starter not switching to a pro-tree, I would assume this would have been considered an electrical glitch with the tree, in which case the luv truck would have to re-run his round only. Assuming he would have won, I would have faced him in a final. Freddy needs to brush up on his rules.

However, you're already talking bs and the truck is on jack stands, lol.
Get it on the track, run some respectable times, then say "to all the haterz" because that vid is weak lol.
You got a long ways to go to compete with the turbos!

Go turbo and be done with it.

Was the track the one that made the classes and put on the race? Nelson Performance just was presenting sponsor or was it the other way around.

We've always had an LS only truck class and an All out any truck class and a bracket class from day one.
    So classes never change.
That gives everyone a chance to race.
The LS class only is sticking with our roots and maintaining a class just for us. It's a unique class that requires LS only, in any truck.
The All out on property class encourages others to run at the event, that aren't LS based.
Like blown06, he fit in both; that happens all the time.

    Bracket is for anyone obviously.

SAR always does a great job keeping the classes moving and organizing the racers. There's no way I'd try that; i'm stretched to thin as it is.
They will ask my opinion on some details but they do this every week so I leave it up to them.
I understand there may be an issue; as in your case; every one has a suggestion and I wish everyone could be happy; but you know.

fwiw, i get asked all the time "why do you have just those classes" and my answer to everyone who are interested in more classes is:
If you bring at least 10 trucks to the even that need a specific class I'll be glad to accommodate them.
You can imagine, for example; why not a 10sec / 12sec / 15 sec class, generally speaking, well bring the trucks and we'll run them.
I'd even make a class and trophy for; the fastest 5.3L with stock heads, 5lug conversion, leaf spings, and radial tires lmao; just bring at least 10 of them.
This goes for the other brands as well; you want a fastest L or SRT Truck class, bring it; we'll do it.

But, like always; things happen and trucks break; that's just how it works; and we're left with just a handful of trucks.
It's difficult to get our type of trucks gathered and running all at the same time. It's the same story over and over at every "LS" type of truck gathering.

But, as far as trucks participating and actually racing; we always have a great spectator to racer ratio; lots of racers show up and the event brings in some of the fastest LS based trucks around. The key is, we just need to keep them running long enough lol.

    hope that helps,

I understand where you are coming from Allen. I know promoting a race wears you out. BUT you gotta be willing to back your racers up. I came to you trying to explain but was run over by Freddies big mouth. Theres a right way to handle stuff and I'm not always right but in this instance it was Freddie in the wrong. Him rerunning the whole round and bringing in his relatives truck that never even ran that round just to have 4 trucks was absurd. Its Freddies attitude that will cause you to get a black eye promoting a race that could be killer. Hell there a 2 races in the next 2 months and they dont even have heads up racing. You do and I appreciate it. Not to mention all the hot checks that myself and numerous customers have from Freddie. I'm just glad you payed out and not him because that would have gotten ugly with more hot checks.

I understand where you're coming from.

But, do you remember I walked up just as you two were ending the argument?
I caught the last two sentences and had no idea what was going on. Then it was over.

You're bringing up details I had no idea about. If I was there in the beginning i have no issue siding either way.
It's not that I didn't back up the racer I didn't have the entire story. When I walked up Freddy already had his mind made up and ya'll didn't wanna run.
That is all I know as of now.
You're bringing up very good points, no doubt.

We try and host a raceday to meet everyone's expectations; it's not gonna happen; I wish it would tho!

Next year, I will post up the races, include details on lights, courtesy and rules that need to be followed.
When in doubt on the next issue; if one arises next year; we'll fall back on the rules. It just has never been an issue.

SINCE ALL THE RIGHT PPL ARE INVOLVED IN THE THREAD, CAN SOMEONE POINT ME TO THE LSX RUNNER UP?
WE HAVE HIS TROPHY AND CERTS.
DOESN'T MATTER ON THE DETAILS, SOMEONE HAS TO BE SECOND; ANYONE?

if not, that means i get to take home two trophies, hahahah.
