Yeah, before they cut it back to 1000' I think it was a 1/4 mile track. There is no way that there was enough shutdown room after a 1/4. I think as cars got faster, they finally cut it on down to 1/8 after cars were still not able to shut down quick enough. It is a pretty nice surface though. The 1/8 is all concrete(former owner owned concrete company) and they are doing many improvements on the whole place to try and bring it around. The guys from Mad Piston Racewear ATV stunt team are supposed to be there on the 1st of may... I got them set up with the track, so I told them I would be there... Even if ya got nothin to run i would still be down just to have a git together with some of the board members...
