holy $hit man i payed less than that for my race trans from jerry's haha, u better have a full out level 5 after shelling out that much $. should have went FLT if u werent going with Jerry's...
Uhhh, I would have if Jerry were a bit more accessible. But when the phone number everyone gives you (including the one on QST) goes to some girl's voice mail, it makes it kind of hard.
And an FLT Level 4 is $1850, plus a core charge, plus the down time for shipping, plus the fact that I wouldn't have any local support, plus the fact that I have a 12/12 complete warranty compared to a 6 month parts/30 repairs warranty and a two day turnaround from Sparky......I'm okay with what it cost.

1850-1580=$270 diff for a whole new trans built right with no need for support(from what ive read). im glad ur happy, just saying that u payed a lot for ur happinessdid he replace every single thing in the trans? vince just made a post a few days ago about what all FLT does to a transmission, I only hope(and highly doubt) that the guy u payed $1600 to went through all the testing and steps FLT does, otherwise u may end up needing that local support u speak of. im not bashing im stating facts, and im sorry u couldnt get a hold of jerry's.
Does Jerry go through all the same testing that FLT does? Does he run them on a dyno?

not that i know of. I love my trans from Jerry's tho. i just think that if ur gonna spend a ton of money u should get something more than a pump and a few components replaced. as i said for that amount of $ u could get an all new FLT, i guess thats my main point.
I wonder if the $1580 included R/R? Maybe the next time someone on here needs a tranny Jerry will pick his phone up.
