I may do the intake too when I pull it off..... if I don't get my hands on a victor Jr first. I believe a good set of heads would put you into the 10's!

I think better air, little suspension tuning and the tranny shifting a little later would put me in the 10s, even on 14psi. If It dont, Ill just crank it up lol. I should have a TBSS intake and TB soon and may slap that on.

That tbss intake and 90mm tb would help a lot especially being boosted. It is plenty for most setups IMO. I am super impressed with your build. Thing is wicked for such an awesome budget build.

Screw the TBSS intake go to either the FAST LSXRTor the new 92mm intake.

I would love to go with an aftermarket setup, but for the time being I dont have the money. After I graduate in Novemeber hopefully I can land a good job and build a really nice setup.

Have you thought about the Pro-flo or holley intake? I hear those work really well with boost

Yeah i really like the Holley but around here used victor Jr's go pretty cheap so I figured I would snag one up. What is a good budget turbo intake?

That vic jr would scream up top. Would you run an elbow or a 4 barrel TB? I would say a decent budget manifold for a 5.3 would be the TBSS/NNBS intake and TB. Or any kind of FAST if you can get one used for cheap

The cheapest budget intake is the Nnbs/tbss intake after that the holley. The fast is pretty crazy expensive but great if you can afford it.

What do you guys think about milling the 853 heads to get the combustion chambers close to 862's ? Or should I leave the the chambers big to lower the compression for the boost? I'm kinda leaning towards milling them.
