Devin - Where is that :sarcasm: smiley when I need it?

Stew - There is no way that I would need to run a "performance" tire like that. I don't make anywhere near close to enough power to warrant running a drag radial all the time. Sure they would be nice to have for going to the track but I need an every day tire.

Luke - Thats exactly why I want to stay in the 30" -31" tall range. I have about 2" of drop out back and stock ride height up front....IMO it would look kinda stupid with little tiny 28" tall tires.

I did some reading today and people seem to like the Falkens and Kumhos a lot. The BFG's had a couple more negative reviews...mainly about noise, but thats what a loud exhaust/stereo are for ...than the others I looked at.

All in all it will come down to what money allows for.

    Thanks for all yalls help.

if your not looking for a performance tire theres only 1 way to go...michelin IMO. hell, my old michelin 255/55 18's grabbed better than any of the "performance tires" i tired out. they were also quieter, wore better and rode better.

I had a set of Michelins on the truck when I still had 16's and I hated the way it rode. I could spin for days on them. They were almost as loud as the BFG A/T's I put on after them.

I'm running the Toyo Proxies STII and i like them alot good wet or dry traction and their tread life seems to be pretty good.
