    You have DOD on your truck? I turned mine off.

    The 4.8s dont have DOD, thank God. Im not sure how much harder it is to do engine mods, but it seems like a hassle if you have DOD. You turned it off in your tune, or actually just disconnected it?

    I wasn't aware that you had a 4.8 sorry. My 07 4.8 didn't have it either. I turned it off in the tune.

    I get between 18-22 on the highway according to the formula in hptuner I have and it us pretty acurate from the last time I checked.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.

    miles / gallons of gas = best way to tell mileage IMO
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    yeah I have the lowly 4.8, but to be honest, this thing runs better than my old '03 silverado with the 5.3. Im sure its the heads, because as the rpms climb, the truck seems to WANT to go faster. The old truck had real good low end but the power wasnt as linear
