As far as the other discussion I'd buy a 2500 with a 4.3 before I got one with an LB7 even though that wasn't possible.
Try making a living putting band-aids on one and you'd understand how much better the trouble free LLY is.
That sucks dale. I kinda feel your pain but lucky mine is under warrenty but it still sucks to have your truck down.
