    this is actually incorrect. there is a 45 hp RATING difference but that is because they rate the LQ9 at like 5500 rpm and the LQ4 at like 4500 rpm. there is actually only a 20 horse difference when they are peaking in their upper rpm ranges in total stock form.

    Updates: Rear anti-sway bar is done, spare tire mounts are all tacked up ready to weld, fire wall is done, steering is done, front hydraulic bump stops are done, tranny cooler is mounted, and the dash is started. I still have to finish the dash, wire everything, plumb everything and finish the brakes, they are about 40% done. I havent decided what I am going to do body wise on the front, But the bed will be fiberglass bedsides that I already have, it will take a full weekend to mount them nicely. I should have made a lot more progress than this but it has been WAY too hot to be working in the garage here. I just had my left hip completely replaced so progress will be non existent for a while. I am still hoping to have the thing drivable by the end of the year.
