Not worth it IMO. I would get either a HD/SS/Escalade cluster or buy an Aeroforce Interceptor guage.

I have the SS cluster in my truck with the Trans Temp gauge but it doesn't work.. I don't have the stock Tranny either though, i have a T56 that i put in there, but i used all the original plugs from the new tranny to the new tranny? Do the manuals not come stock with a trans temp gauge in the Trans itself? i know it wasn't in the dash, thats why i opted for the SS cluster. Does Anybody know? Thanks

Nope. The TT sensor is in the pressure sensor manifold on the valve body in the auto....manual doesn't have it.

Well that would it explain why it doesn't work.. So to get it to work do i just have to run a wire from the sensor in the gauge cluster to a probe that i put somewhere in the Tranny? Where's the best place to put a temp gauge probe?

Not sure the difficulties of putting a 03+ cluster in a 99-02. Rebuilders put boot software only in the 03+ so that WCT dealer hacks like me can boot the dang ole thing up and install VIN specific operating software in one programming event and the hourmeter/odometer information in the 2nd event. Most 03+ modules are way different (think of anything with a 'puter in it that communicates on the data buss as a module) than the 99-02. Not sure how this apples and oranges stuff works but I will defer opinion to those that have tried and succeeded. The problem of buying one from a real rebuilder is they're gonna wanna know the part number you need....they generally do not work off of application. They mess with stock stuff all day long...

Your gas gauge problem is most likely not IPC related but an open or intermittent in the fuel level sensor in the tank.
