    Well, aside from it being the first two letters in ferrous...I was looking for a smaller needle...

    Okay, so it was Latin. I can't take credit for knowing that...it was a guess. So what's ferum mean? (I realize I'm opening myself up on that one...)

    you should really call Synders in Holland TX...google the number and ask for Mike, Tell him Jon from DB Rods referred you... He can find any motor any where and will cut you a great deal...

    Got the block, heads and rotating assembly from Snyder's. Actually Allen found it. But yeah...roughly 1800 and change...delivered to NP. At least that's what I paid. Allen swapped over my cam and accessories...

    +1 jon referred me to snyders and i spoke with mike and he found me an all aluminium 5.3 out of an 07 denali and the tranny.
