    If you eat at the drive-through, get the Duramax, you won't have to kill the engine so that they can hear you.

    i still have to kill it at drive through. but its due to exhaust noise, not injector clank. seriously, in my truck with the radio on i can hear a powerjoke idling from 100ft away. the injector noise is intense on those turds.

    i think i would still prefer a d max over a cummins. built engine to built engine they are very comparable, but there's just something about a v-8 that makes the d max better for me. i dont think anyone makes a programmer for a 12v... because there p-pump, all mechanical... but yea they do smoke like crazy due to the way you have to tune a p-pump, nothings progressive. you get all the fuel/timing whenever you want it.

    turbo is in the valley of the motor the up pipes are equal length coming off the manifolds the passenger side is tapped because it doesnt have to removed to access the small flat area to be drille for the egt thermocoupler

    Oh wow..the Dmax has the turbo in there? No wonder why I couldn't find it when I was looking at my friend's Dmax last week...

    its right behind the intake resonator that says duramax 6.6 right on top in the middle of the motor, cummins is off to the pass side, fords are hidden under the cab lol

    How is your Dmax doing Cody? Last I remember, it was running pretty damn well. Any mods or tuning since then?

    Havent really had time to tune on it much, Im about as far as I can take it before I grenade the trans. Right now it has an AFE Stage II intake, corsa turboback, diamond eye true downpipe, BD driverside manifold, and of course an EFI tune in it. Ive got a transgo Jr sitting in teh garage but Im probably just going to wait till I build the trans all the way. It slips bad some days and other days it works great. My foot might as well be an anvil, I can damn near break anything with it, the nail in the coffin I think was racign a cummins with my fifth wheel in tow

    Damn son...some good mods on it already! Yeah, I wouldn't suggest trying to race anything with the 5th wheel hooked up...but then again, that's just me...
