    You make me wish I was close to Texas. If I had enough employees I''d haul my truck down there to get tuned. As it is it won't make it. It dies when it gets warm and you goose it a little then then hit the brakes it dies. The afr gauge goes really lean at idle and it shakes as if it has a large cam in it. I am so frustrated with it. Until I hit the gas doing 30 and it starts getting sideways. I lost traction in 4wd in the rain for the first time today. That was kinda kool.

    Zeake--do you not have tuning software? I thought you did? Since you have a 99, can't you just turn up your throttle adjustment screw on the TB to keep the idle slightly higher to keep it from dying on you?

    I have the software, but not the time to learn to use it. I thinks its best I leave it to the professional. Its more than just the idle screw. It goes lean idling and just runs like poop. I sent Allen some logs and am just waiting on the retune.
    I would love to take it to Texas but the fuel alone would run about 700.00 to haul it on a trailer there and back.

    I hear ya on not having time to learn something new. But damnit--if I had the software just sitting on the shelf, I would move it into the pooper room so that I could read a little here and there while playing UPS man...

    But yeah, if you are sending Allen scans--he should be able to correct them and send you new tables to make it run correctly...

    awesome i wanna see this machine run .hey ,could you post some idle video ,i am debating on a turbo setup but id really like too hear how much they wistle at idle .or when does it start wistling ,i just dont know if i can listen to it all the time.does it wistle at normal driving ?or just getiing into boost hard.id appreciate it i really am wanting one.

    Mine doesnt whistle at all during idle because its in such low vacuum mode and I dont even have exhaust. I know james has the front mount which is different, but I heard that theres are a lot quieter than mine anyway

    I'll post a video as soon as mine gets drivable. The whistle is not constant but the blow off valve is loud and its great to let off the gas next to a ricer.
    The juice is worth the squeze on turbo. I love mine. Just wish I could get a live tune. I think it would help me tremendously.

    I will soon.

    The turbo is very quiet. You can hear it well when the cutout is open, but full exhaust is very quite under normal driving conditions.
