mine is pretty obvious too. TRT was Texas Rear Turbos. TRTturbo rolls off the tongue easier. Thats where TRT Performance comes from. I was trying to keep people from thinking STS was all we did.

When I joined this (actually the first LS1TRUCK.com) I was still thinking about putting a LS1 in my 1981 GMC. It stuck and now it fits again with the 2002. Allen was a big part of the swap and he was already driving his LS1TRUCK. On the other sites I'm GMChasLS1, I guess it has to do with when I joined those sites it was after the engine swap.
