Yes A&M does have some things to work on. But compared to the first game we have improved alot. I hope we keep improving every single game. We actually defended against the run. I am looking forward to next weekends game against Army.

yeah, well as stated above everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon when texas is winning, we'll see if they have a down couple of years if they r still behind them. thats the thing about aggies, they dont just love the team when they r good, they love them good or bad, guess TU just has a bunch of john kerry's(flip floppers) sad, but true. :flipoff:

i dont really know who you are reffering to when you say everyone. because the people on here that do root for UT, which i can tell is slim, have either gone to UT, or been fans for a very long while. so just be specific when you say "everyone" jumps on the bandwagon.

im basically a fan of every team except a&m, half of my graduating class went to that school, and yeah its alot of fun to go up there and hang out with them. but i just dont think i could have pride for something so terrible. that and the fact that every a&m fan is so dedicated that they try to feed you this propaganda every year about how we need to believe that the aggies are going to "do something" this year. frankly after numerous years of listening to the fans, and not seeing any results. i cant really be a believer. and im sure the fans are going to get on here and persecute me and get all wound up about it. but there is already two topics about a&m on here, so basically these topics are just polluting the boards, and by flaming people that are fans of other schools, well its not helping.

Basically in my opinion there are 2 types of fans. Ones that will stick with a team through wins and losses and there are also those fans that will jump ship the first sign of trouble. I myself am a diehard A&M fan. Both school academically are awesome no disputing that.

oh i wholeheartedly agree with the academic side. the engineering at a&m is amazing. but yeah i go to st edwards university up here in austin, and i have so close friends that go to all three schools, a&m, tech, and ut so thats why i just root for all of them. the only differences in the fans that i notice between them is that UT and tech are similar in that they are somewhat modest about there teams, but a&m just try and pound it down your throats that they there time is coming soon. and im sure it will, but i just dont see it happening in the near future.

i dont necessarily think UT fans or any fans from there school necessarily jump ship if they start doing poorly. they may have less to boast about there team, but there always going to be diehard fans.

i one hundred percent disagree, im not going to "prosecute u", but the FACT is now more than ever u see people that dont know anything about ANY sport wearing these TU jerseys, just cuz its cool. i agree people like Brandon have always been Longhorn fans, in fact i used to like TU, but once u go to BCS and see the pride, love, and tradition, u soon realize that what TU stands for is more political than real pride. aggies stick together through thick and thin, in my opinion had roger clemens gone to a&m and tom hicks gone to a&m, roger would be a ranger this year, instead hes an astro, which is fine u can say he wanted to be close to home, but in reality, he could fly from houston to dallas in little or no time so thats BS in my opinion. agies r different, and heres a to all the REAL TU fans, but if u cant name ur starting quarterback, and 2 wide recievers u aint a fan so therefore ur on the badwagon that is TU! Tech has some great fans im sure, hell there aint nothing up there but cowshit and tech, so yeah they r a lil more credible than TU fans in my opinion. thats my rant, take it how u will.

but i mean the thing is, you dont know what TU stands for because you never lived in austin nor did you go to UT. so i mean to make that assumption is somewhat illogical.

either way goodluck to all the teams. im from texas so i root for texas in general. maybe if i want to a school in the big 12 id feel differently. but for now. GO HILLTOPPERS! our football team is undefeated....... ok yeah we dont have a football team

lets c i just stated that i was a longhorn fan before i became an aggie fan, the reason i switched is cuz they r too political in austin(simms over applewhite PLEASE!?) behind austin waco has to be the number 2 rated city in the world who generally roots for TU, so i do understand evrything u just said, brandon knows my whole family is TU fans just ask him, but i didnt jump on the bandwagon after i saw what they satnd for there, instead i went to BCS and it didnt take long to feel the passion they have for there team win or lose. remember when simms was there everyone was like LONGHORNS suck cuz they couldnt win the title, yeah those same people wearing the championship shirts now, that aint bandwagon i dont know what is. nuff said cant dispute what i just said. u know we cool ducky just differing opinions on this stupid ass subject
