i think the ext cab silverado might grow on me, but i dont know if the reg cab will. the thing i liked most about our year model reg cab, end of 99-02 is the sleek look, but i guess it goes back to that saying from the matrix, "the only constant is change". the trucks may get uglier, but they are starting to pack a punch in them which i guess evens itself out

That's odd, I went over to chevy.com and built a 2007 SS and the picture they're showing of the truck is a 2006 body style?

thats right red, in 07 they will make the same 06 styles but lable them as "Classics" and the new body styles will just be 07 silverados, they r doin like a half and half thing here. read more over on www.fullsizechevy.com

could really care less about the looks, as long as it hauls ass down the track. ..and it appears gm is throwing a few extra horses in all of their vehicles.

i'm actually liking the new style more and more, to be honest.. something we will all have to live with for 5-6yrs??? then we'll be driving flying saucers and everyone will be happy. maybe..

I'm in agreement with Nitrous , it doesn't look so hot but it 'll probably grow on me . I swore I'd never buy anything that looked like that first year Avalanche and then I heard they were going to put that nose on all of them - I was pretty disappointed . But when the half tons came out I liked them . I'll still never buy a Dodge or a Ford no matter what ! Thanks for posting that up Red !

HMMMMMMMMMMMM Still not sure on the new trucks. I think they could be really nice but you would have to put your own personal touches on it. Lift it, slam it, etc etc. I am just not sold on it yet. I see the potential of the truck but it is deffinantly not what alot of ppl were expecting. The new trucks have been hyped up for a while. I guess I am just a little disappointed.
