<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bluecajun5.3 @ Mar 30 2006, 04:00 PM) </div>I dont know if im reading this right, But your talking about your lc-1 handling narrowband duties, witch works on your friends z28 but not on your truck? If so the problem is the sens wire and the ground are not the same. I dont remember the color off the top of my head but you will need a volt meter to find out witch wire reads around 0.45 volts when the engine is warm, hook the yellow wire to that. The ground wire can be found by a simple Ohms test as it will have less than 1 Ohm with the engine off. Wire that directly into the IEO interface or to the heater ground. If your getting a heater code you can find the 12V wire with the Volt meter and run it to your old 02 sensor, No need to have it in the exhaust just run it too it and tie it up somwhere. The LC-1 is a real POS Im surprised it has not fried yet trying to get it to work on your truck. Dont hold me liable if it takes a crap. This thing is a real POS! I suggest a AEM or a PLX device if you have the cheese for it.hey chris, what's this i hear about the ground offset. i might be having those problems. my friend fabed up his new lc1 to where he could take it from car to car for quick tuning. he has a 98 z28 so the electical connector he put on the lc1 is a male so that it can connect to the female connector on the car. (but the trucks are opposite) so what we went ahead and did was connected two female connectors togeter so that it could hook up to the male connector that's on my truck. hooked it up to the truck and kept getting heater stuck open message. (using efi live). so we tried it on his car, and what do you know the freaking thing works. we double checked the two female connectors we fabed up and still nothing. any ideas on what could be the problem. thanks for your help... lance
