See that setup works for you and what you are wanting from your exhaust system. It usually takes a little bit of trying one product and another and you find a balance of what you are wanting. You may give up a few top end hp numbers to run an exhaust that is a little quieter or loose a little bottom end torque because you like the sound of a louder exhaust. The main thing to watch out for though is the bigger is better complex. Not always true.

You are exactly right! There are different ways to balance the exhaust system, the MAJORITY of people just think the exhaust is going to give them 30,000 rwhp and drive around like they are badass when they really lost power going bigger than they needed to. The muffler I have is 2.5" inlets and outlets, so going back to 2.25" pipes after the muffler makes sure I keep that backpressure!
