Those 8.1 injectors should be fine for a long time in an all motor application and even work with a wet NX nitrous shot...

You guys with LS1's and 6.0's (01+) won't gain too much power the way I figure it. The Z06 cam is a 204 intake dur and the 6.0 and LS1 cams are in the high 190's like 197-198.

If you add labor to this ($400 lets say) and springs $100, and pushrods $100 then you end up spending around $700 for maybe 10-15rwhp...

Hell an ASP crank pulley will add about that. This cam would be better in a 4.8/5.3 or an iron headed 6.0

the LS6 gained 30rwhp for me in my 6.0 with stock 6.0 heads. that's 30 ACTUAL horsepower at the rear tires. it's a damn good cam.

the LS6 cam has a ton more lift than that stock cam you have in your motor. .551/.551 isn't to bad at all. ofcourse coming from someone that went through the trouble to put a new motor in an old truck, but leave the 2.73s and a stock converter in....well, that's enough said.
