go full spoll.
Im not shur if they make it yet for the 99+ trucks.
But it sounds like a lot of fun right?

Just take it to Pyle Bros. in Baytown. They do excellent work and will probably (sp.) have an Eaton and the gears of your choice in stock. That's what most of us run here. Gear and posi install will usually take about 3.5hrs. Or you could always just give 'em a call and they'll answer all your questions you have over the phone, ask for Chance...
Talked to Chance...Nice Guy. He quoted me $1,100 for Eaton P/N# 19559 and U.S. Gear 3.73's. Does that sound about right. Will this set-up hold 450-500 RWHP? or should I look for something else?

That's about what I paid and I brought my own gears, actually It was 400 for install but I added the Eaton after having trouble pulling out the Powertrax locker that I had installed...Zed

What about the detroit trutrac. Is it worth a crap. No friction plates sounds good to me but there has to be a down side.

Detroit truetrac is better IMO since you dont have to worry about burnign up the clutches I have an eaton and I love it. My buddy has a truetrac and it works seamlessly. Bad thing about an eaton is if you get in a situation where one tire has no traction if you dont have the 800# unit you stand a HUGE chance of frying the clutches. I see it all the time on pt.net
