So, I'm on the tail end of hooking up the last bits and I haven't found easy solutions for the following connections: steam line on the bottom of the throttle body, vacuum line for the brake booster, and hooking up my "returnless" fuel system. I've seen others drill and tap the water pump, but I'm not doing that unless I absolutely can't find a better solution cuz I feel like there's so much that could go wrong there. There is a weird fitting or nipple on the back of the intake that has a red ring on it and I'm not sure what it's for. Can that be used for vacuum? It (seemingly) won't twist off so I don't know if I need some sort of adapter or what. I'm going to switch over to hydroboost eventually but for now I need my brake booster to work on vacuum. When I picked up my engine there was this EVAP style hose coming out of solenoid on the top of the intake manifold and on the loose end of the hose it looked like they cut off a fuel line maybe? Is that what hooks into the return line of my truck? I bought all the necessary AN fittings and adapters for my fuel lines so I can get rid of those silly steel "goose neck" lines that went into my old intake. Any advice so far? Links maybe? I appreciate the help!!

I know I know...my current trans is already a ticking time bomb. However it recently pulled a 6k lbs Airstream about 240 miles with no problems at all. But regardless, it's not long for this world. I only have to make it until April and then I can get the 80 I need to do the job!
What Y pipe are you using?
Is it a regular pacesetter Y pipe?
For the vacuum you need this fitting that goes on the back of your stock intake. Dealer will have it. Its either silver like that or a black plastic.

That's awesome man thanks! I do have the Pacesetter 3" y-pipe but I def think it's for a 2WD because I can't seem to get it around the transmission crossmember. It's close but just not close enough for me to use it. I'm going to have to go with something else. Wanna buy it? lol
I'm not trying to hi-jack here, but do you have a part number for that fitting. I don't have a GM dealer in my small town, so I'll have to order it online. Sorry for my ignorance, but does this fitting fit in the port with the red ring? I also picked up an '05 LQ9 for an '82 c10 swap, and I've had it in the shop for about a week, I haven't had a chance to study it excessively, but I saw the port the OP is referring to. I have an LQ4 in my '03 truck, so I can't do a direct comparison. I'm also going to chop up my own harness from the info on LT1swap.com.
