lt1 t56 compaired to nv3500
I know, new guy here. have a reasonable question that Google couldn't help with.
I have a 95 rcsb Cheyenne. 350 with nv3500. Soon as taxes come in I'm swapping a 4.8 or 5.3, whichever I find cheapest. (I knkw its a swap question but Figured I would get more replies in here)
Hears my question.
I can bolt a lt1 t56 to my 350 TBI motor in place of the nv3500. I can also bolt my nv3500 to a 4.8 or 5.3 with the 4.8 5 speed fly wheel and a crank spacer.
Now i have search "lt1 t56 behind lsx" and comes up "can't happen with out changing input, face plate and bell housing.
So why is it a nv3500 from my 350 TBI motor bolt to a 4.8/5.3 but the lt1 that will also bolt to my 350 TBI motor won't bolt to a lsx?
Doesn't make since to me.... am I missing a piece to the "sacred" puzzle?
