    Got a few things in the mail today... sadly most have to be returned... I got my Dirty Dingo mounts... look nice.

    I got my Shoenfield headers, but it wasnt until after i ordered them that I found out they dont fit 4wd. So now i have to order a set of Pacesetter ones.

    Also I got my Flexplate in. From summit racing. Beware, the pictures show bolts and a spacer on summits website however they are not included... so i just paid $90 for a flexplate I could have gotten for 65 thinking it had everything included.

    Also secured an engine and harness/ecu
    it is a 5.3L out of a 2002 silverado with 115k.
    I should be able to begin this weekend if all goes well!!

    My wiring harness is on the way from RCI Performance in Huntsville, AL also where I scored my engine!
    Just waiting on my Headers to come in.

    isnt it fun getting pars in the mail??? then you turn around and look at your bank account... lol!!! anyway just wanted to ask cuz i didnt see if you mentioned it or not but are you doing an 80e swap too? i assume you have a 60e stock or does your hoe already have an 80e?? just wondering why you went with the 80e flexplate?

    oh snap... dont tell me i bought something else i dont need..... That flexplate is part #19260102. I thought i needed it with the spacer and bolts to get my trans to work? I have a 60e.

    got my spacer put on my dished flexplate.... this is the correct way to mount right? I have a 98 4l60e and i was told i can use the dished flexplate and mount the spacer on after it.. to support the center hub of my torque converter.

    yeah i have to do that stilll... what bit worked best for you? I prefer not to spend 5 hours grinding...
    I measured hole to hole and it seems pretty close... much closer than the flat flexplate I bought... how much did you take off?
