Definately Trash the iron heads. Also, not sure what vehicle this is going in, it migh be more cost effective to go with a 90mm truck intake. Less crap you'd have to deal with changing around. If you go with flat top pistons I'd estimate around 375-400 from your combo. Also, the truck intake would flow more in the lower rpm range which would give you more low end torque.
Your setup seems similar to mine and I ran a 13.1 @99. I'm running an iron ls1 with milled 241's for heads. What springs are you going with for the heads? I'm assuming you know that the stock springs won't hold up.

I have a fresh set of 317s with 918s already installed on them I will sell you. (they only have 700 miles on them ). The car intake will be more labor intensive as well as cost intensive because you have to purchase a new water pump, belt, spacers, coolant and whatever else you will need to install the intake. IMO installing a TBSS/NNBS intake is the route I would take.

Well I already have the intake, TB, and I'm pulling the water pump anyway to change gaskets. So I know I need a fuel rail to finish off the intake. The rest is just makin it work lol
