Wow that thing looks sketchy, but I am sure you will make it fly like a bat outta hell.

Anyone want to donate a 4.8? The 307 Olds is being pulled soon.

That is a funny pic. Cool as hell though

God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

Whats even funnier was the d-bags in lubbock that thought it was a good idea to try and tailgate me to take pictures. I took it easy on the way home and had it chained/strapped/blocked in the rear so there was no way it was coming off that trailer without a fight, lol. I seriously need a bigger trailer. I would love to do an LS Swap in this with a carb if anyone has any leads on something cheap. For the time being we're going with a 98' model Vortec 5.7.

well, since my suspension build is on hold I'll be going back to the engine work on my 05'.
Here are a few cam's I'm looking at, these were suggested to me by an engine builder in Lubbock. I honestly have no idea but was leaning towards the 220R after riding in a truck with one. I'll have a Circle D 3200 Stall to go with it. This is for my 05' CCSB Z71 that I'm building into a prerunner.
224/224 .581"/.581"
220/220 .581"/.581"
212/218 low lift - saw a few deals on used cams (Chevrolade just bought the one I was looking at)
Thoughts/suggestions?

A TR220 will sacrifice a little lift, but allow you to run LS7 valve springs saving you some money while increasing durability of parts. It will also match that stall really well.

Not all 220s are built the same. The thunder racing version i believe is more in the .551/.551 lift range. The LS7 spring are good to .550 or .570 or .590 depending on who you talk to.Darnie1987 has a 5.3 with that same cam and stall on 33" tires and can't get traction to save his life so should be good for you as well.
