So here's the deal, my LT style 4L60E has 6 holes for the upper bellhousing and the 5.3 I have also has 6 but it looks that it should have 7.

If I were to bolt my trans up to the 5.3 right now I would only be able to put 5 of the bolts in since I won't be able to utilize the uppermost/center bolt hole on the 5.3 since there isn't a spot for that bolt on my trans.

So what would be the best way to go about getting the bolt out of the hole? I can see the outline of where the hole should be.
