    yes it will matter especially being a NA 5.3. that intake isnt meant for a heavy truck with small cubes thats for sure

    It's a 5.7. But sounds like it's still not a good idea. What about an LS6 intake? Just need a TB, vette rails, and water pump right? The power band right now with the truck intake flatens out above 5k and it's definitly noticable. Help me out with some options.

    I would do either the TBSS/NNBS intake, or an LS2 intake..that way you can upgrade to a 90mm TB. But thats just me...
