yeah, it's just about the only option..but oil even gets past a catch can. ive seen dual catch can setups. it is really cluttery at that point.

I've thought about doing this, but I'm worried it will contaminate the MAF sensor. What do you think?

so far so good on the ones we've done. but i bet it would be an issue if blow by was a concern; on a boosted engine.
of course sd isn't a problem.

why are there guys that only run breathers on the valve covers and push the same amount boost as guys that run cath can setups and say they dont have any problems? is it just a matter of the amount of blow-by or something else?

That's actually how the NNBS is done. The PCV tube runs up into the intake tube post MAF.

the design of the catch can is semi important. The cheap ones on ebay have the inlet/outlet right next to each other, in theory oil can 'jump' from one to the other. Taller catch cans tend to hold oil better, and the higher end ones actually have internal walls/baffles (for lack of a better term) to stop the oil. The cheap ones are just hollow cans.

For smell/moisture catch cans really are the best way to go, but good ones can be rather expensive.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
