    DOHC is used in F1 and most GT racing cars (Corvette, Panoz and Viper being the exceptions)
    generally speaking, overhead cam engines allow higher rev operation, and thus are better for peak power output
    and i have yet to see any vvti/ivtec type setups with ohv (banks lifters do not count ) which would = better fuel economy and less of a carbon foot print

    I like my push rod engines, i work in the oil field so my carbon foot print is huge, and i like it. LOL
