Thread: Time for a new car

  1. #11
Put several hours of seat time in it. I think you are too big for the car. Remember Japanese folks are tiny compared to us.

yeah that is true, it is a tight squeeze in the WRX, i need to drive it long distance and find out if it is comfortable, all i got from the first test drive was five minutes in traffic.

the WRX is out, the dealership i was going to buy it from called me a "dick" and said i was an a-hole, yes a car dealership said these things to a customer, so i am going to go look at the legacy sedan.

get a quad cab truck and go f/i or..tbss... g8 gxp ftw lol. as for the wrx, i know its not an evo but similar, my friend has an evo 8 and it is a blast to drive it like it was stolen but i could not drive a rally car every day. if i took that car on vacation i would leave it and my family on vacation, gotta have some room between me and the girl & kid. get a car for an over night test drive, might help on your decsion, most larger dealers from where im at will let you take it for 24hrs. if they know your serious. or you could get a cheaper car and keep the truck???? i have a 1998 gtp ive had for going on 7 years ($4500 when i bought it) and have barely had to touch a wrench to it, and when i did the parts were inexpensive. the car gets great mpg, it has plenty of power, its reliable, im 6 foot tall and fit in it, and their inexpensive. i keep it for a 2nd car and put about + or - 3000 miles a year on it and when i need it it runs like the day i bought it. you will miss your truck and want it back, i teared up when i sold my 98 z71 ecsb, it was my first truck and i still see it every day.
