Apparently I was misinformed. I just went looked up a couple of sites and the biggest was a 6.2 offered for the Denali. I would go get another vehicle, but this one is paid for. I just want to figure out how to get as much HP and Torque as possible with out having to spend the 6k to 7k to supercharge the 5.3. Plus, I think driving a truck thats all motor is a lot more fun ! I could also get a 6.0 from a GTO or Corvette along with transmission and electronics and do that swap, which will still be cheaper than supercharging it. I have listened to a couple of GTO's with 408's from Texas Speed and they sound amazing !

The 6.0L from the ls cars are about the same as the LQ9/LQ4 they just have a different set of heads and intake, and a different cam.

I want to get the most torque and efficiency I can, either out of my motor or a 6.0L Swap. I also want to stroke the 6.0 to a 383 or more. I already have a Garrett hybrid T3/T4 Turbo, 600hp intercooler, oil pump and wastegate. So either I want either use this in conjuction with a stroked low compression engine or I wanna supercharge it. I'm just fed up with the gutless motor I have ! Does anyone out there have any ideas ?
    I don't think you can stroke a 6.0L to a 383...correct me if I am wrong, but a 4" crank with the std 4.005" bore (.005" cleanup) = 402 CI?

Again, I apologize for being new. I looked up the Erod crate motor and that is a great setup !! Will I still be able to use the original ECM and just have it re-tuned ? Also, I am pretty sure that motor and my heavy foot will trash my current transmission. That leads me to think that I might should also upgrade my transmission at the same time. Any suggestions on the type of transmission.. Second, I have read many post about swapping to the 6.2 along with the 6 speed automatic transmission. There are plenty of post about it, but everyone either says it will be a direct swap with just a re-tune and others say it will be a lot of work to get it all working correctly. Also, one thing that all have over looked is just changing out the gears from 3:73 gears to 4:56 gears because of the added weight and size of the 35'x12.5" tires on 20's. I have asked several street and off-road mechanics and they agree that a gear swap will help. Because of the conditions I drive in, I am also looking into having and Eaton Posi installed at the same time as the gears. Thank you for your ideas and suggestions...
