    He'll find out it's a pointless endeavor all on his own. All else fails and he still wants the 4.3, marine intake and turbo.

    Maybe fab up a rear mount turbo? Couldn't be too much different than one for a V8. Maybe just use a smaller turbo.

    turbo be nice...i know them 4.3 syclones were fast,,light,but fast.
    shit he mite end up getting a new vehicle who knows maybe ill end up with his truck for a project ...ill pull that 4.3 in a hearbeat lol

    i'd hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you really need to let him know he'll be better off swapping for a V8 - much more power for the same or less monies.

    i know you mentioned that was right out, but friends shouldn't let friends waste that much time & effort. that's my opinion anyway.
    (ps - that's coming from somebody who was adamant about not swapping engines this time last year)

    i talked to STS a year or so ago & they said you could do some custom work to their 4.8 kit to get it to work with that engine
