Clint let me know if I can help you in any way, stress analysis of a CAD part, or milling / heat treating parts. I have access to a heat treat furnace, parts blasters, and plenty of machining equipment, and I have the hook up on wire and cable as well.

here is me second design choice, its a GTR/GTM inspired variant

this one is shown with 2'' GC, but i rather like the idea of 4'' GC since this vehicle will encounter speed bumps occassionally

If it we're me I'd just put an L33/LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3 in a Fiero, but I'm lazy and I know I'd never ever finish a full handbuilt car as cool as it would be to do.

At the risk of raining on your parade. You're planning on a building a car from scratch, but starting with a 4.8L you already have? Just seems like your project is destined for failure if you're going to start skimping on one of the most important parts of the vehicle.

? Yes, if you had an indian name, it would be Rains on Parade...

I'm using the 4.8L for mock-up. On top of that, the suspension will be adjustable so when i switch to a lighter more powerful AL block LS engine, i can compensate for it. Thats not failure my friend, thats prudent planning.

Clint you need to send me your email. I got 4 books today from amazon, one on chassis design, one on high performance suspension design, one on race car vehicle dynamics and the fourth on building kit cars. We will have to race when the cars are finished.
