I like what you did with the black valve covers and red coil brackets. Gonna have to steal that idea.

Thanks, they actually turned out alot better than I thought they would.

So nobody has any input for my push rod delema huh?

I got a little done yesterday and today, installed valve springs and started filling some un-needed holes in the fire wall.

I also noticed that the alternator plug is going to hit the intake manifold but I think I can pull the bolts out of the alt. and rotate the back half 90*

Took a pic of the engine harness. its not finished, i'm waiting to pull the 95 harness out so i can splice them together. I want the wiring to look factory.

Hung the headers on just to keep from tripping over them.

Well I haven't really made much progress thats worth taking pics of. So far all I've gotten done is replaced the oil pump with a melling pump when I stripped the threads outta the old one, replaced the timing chain with a stronger LS2 piece, replaced the oil pan with the H3 pan kit since some how the f-body pan got a crack in it.

The new torque converter should arrive today, I ended up going with a 2300-2500 which I hope works well with my cam.

Body wise, I just picked up a new bed and bought a sandblaster to clean up the frame.

Heres what I'm gonna try to have done in the next few weeks.
Sand and paint the back half of the frame.
Instal my rollpan and fill the tailgate handle and stake pockets.
Pull the rear end from my other truck so I can start cleaning it up and get some gears put in.
Also gotta get the headers sent out to be coated.

to the OP, 7.4 pushrods should work fine, the cam you got should be o.k with FI, ( cant really say as i am not a FI guy lol ) the stall should work well also for ya..
