You don't NEED a tune. I would say that there is either a bad 02, or a leak somewhere.

Even a bad o2 shouldn't cause misfires. It would cause lack of power or terrible mileage, but truck should go into preset tables from factory (i had one out for a week, and it was slow, but drove fine)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

Ya ive tried different O2 sensors, that wasn't it. I should try bunching out my cats, if thoughs are clogged up enough it would restrict the flow. What do you guys think? haha Sounds likely...

You don't tune the headers them self, by getting a custom tune done by say Nelson Performance (indorsements please) they can tune your computer to what mods your running, in turn this would adjust the fuel and air.

if the header were coated they may have fouled the o2 sensor

Correct. I used it on the header bolts, which believe it or not they haven't leaked yet. theres nothing worse than the sound of a leaking block.

ya know i was throwing those same sorta codes, I'm embarrassing myself by telling you this, But all it was, was that my air intake was loose. tightened her up and had autozone erase the codes and its worked great ever since.

I'm writing this to give those who hav the same problems and can't figure whats wrong.

I changed my O2 sensor that was showing low voltage (according to my programmer). And now I have no problems, the codes are gone and I'm finally noticing the potential in my headers!
