well i took a spark plug tap with the same size threads as the original hole and ran it in with some grease on it and pulled out a few metal shavings then took a new plug and it thread right in all the way tight far as i can tell.

Didnt ever add a helicoil or insert, The plug looks to be sitting flush and will tighten down all the way with a socket like the rest. Weird maybe i got lucky.

Every large cam I know of capable to putting your around 400 is going to take a good size stall.... If you are getting the head work done it should buy you a lil more room to play dependent on your CR... If you are wanting it done right and have it optimal you may want to get a custom spec'd one...

Well i want a mid grade cam basically. I plan to get the extra power down the road when i save some money for a fast truck intake and 243 heads

Possibly considering a 3200 stall and a tsp220 cam with ls6 springs and 7.4 rods

hmm. Id go bigger cam with better springs.... like a tsp228 with a set of 918s.... What you listed is closer to what a good 5.3 would need....
