    Depends.

Depends on if we are discussing the worst engine GM ever made other than the one in a Craptera.

Agreed. I hate working on Catera's. Luckily our one Catera customers is finally getting rid of it.

    That is funny.

Even for free that diesel isn't worth it. You know the old term you get what you pay for?

look the guy is wanting to do a swap with the parts he already has. So what if hes putting a 6.2 in his truck, hes seeking help with that. I dont think he should be talked down to just because hes not putting a LS motor in it. Like i said check out Dieselplace.com

I agree with you on sending him to diesel place. That site will answer lots of questions. I just voiced my opinion that it would not be worth doing. A ton of work for very little payoff. Even if its free I would not do it.

Based loosely on an Olds 350 maybe...wait, those were converted with pistons and top end because no matter how bad a 350 Olds gas engine is, the diesel was that much worse. A 6.2 diesel has nothing to do with a 350 other than a bowtie. Is Eric Sidvers still a big guy over at the diesel place? I know him from a previous forum life and I am a member there but have not been there in years.
