My 02 2500 12" lift with 41/22s would get 8 in town... 9 highway .... Its what I learned how to tune with... I was able to gain about 30% so i made it to 11-12 but I had to drive 80mph and no huge headwinds ... My 2006 2500 now gets around 14... but if you drive under 65 i bet it will gain a bit more....

I get about about 13 mpgs in the city due to my stall and driving style, but get 20-21 on the hwy with my gears and traveling at 60-65 mph.

12/22. I find it very hard to believe people are AVERAGING over 20 mpg unless it's all highway.

I've seen as high as 25 on all highway trips. On average I see about 15-17 (combined). With the way I drive in the city I'm sure it's closer to 12-14. On the highway it depends on my mood really...some days I just wanna get on it to hear the exhaust and other days I'm in a lazy mood and yall would think I was an old man cuz I'll set it right at 65 and go.

I think it will improve a little when I fix my massive exhaust leaks and get a magnaflow on it...and some non crimped ass bends . But it will also get worse when I get a stall.

    Oh it's a 5.3 with 3.73's and 31.5" BFG A/T's at about 55psi.

I love how 20s is possible with a fullsize gas powered truck now adays! I was always a true believer of the gen III+ motors but until i got one i had no clue about the tuneability and power they can make and get such great fuel mileage under the right conditions! I am by no means a mpg freak lol dont get me wrong lol my 86 k10 got 9mpg with the old motor my car may get 12 but i beat on it reguarly with the 3500 verter. (Flame suit on) i had a 04 Dodge dakota 4x4 ext. Cab with the 4.7 v8 and it was a quick little truck but with intake and exhaust the best i ever got was 15mpg and that was highway!!! Averaged 9-11 in town it had 3.55 gears auto and 265/75/16 maxis big horns nothing crazy.to boot the motor only lasted till 40k the dodge bought me a new shortblock! then i knew the chevy gods were pissed that i went from a gm to a dodge!

before lift....27mpg cruising at about 50-55

after lift average about 14 city, 12 highway

Truck HATES going over 55 as far as wind resistance goes (but i've still had it going about 140 lol)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
