    I do my dads with HPTuners, its just efilive released diesel before hptuners did so they were he first and cornered it.

    i just dont know a whole lot about diesels,just trying to see what you guys say. i always read about bully dog in magazines but idont know what to do with.

    I'm running a Dmax with a Nelson Low tune, made in HP Tuners, so Far so good.

    He don't want me to blow the truck, so he's releasing power little by little !

    You learn something new every day. I wasn't aware that you could tune dmaxs with HPT. It's a good thing though IMO... more guys with diesels getting real tunes.

    What other mods r on ur diesel, R u just running a tune or have you done full exhaust, block EGR etc.

    Full Exhaust, no cats, no DPF, no EGR, NP tune, like 3 screens inside....LOL

    What is it like man, do u know how much HP he is adding to the tires or anything. Any insight

    I have the PPE on my 07 and yes it is the best handheld tuner for simple plug and play. I believe that for the 02 model dmax, quadzilla had a unit that put down 215 to the tires. Quad will smoke alot though. I had quad on mine at first. If you r getting it for your old man, I would suggest a plug and play, not any serious EFILive or HP tuning because he will never understand it.

    thanks bodis22 i will check it out bro,that was the answer i was looking for. thanks to everyone else also for your input. im trying to get my dad to give me the truck but he doesnt want a new one lol
