I have heard good and bad things about QTP. I have not heard anything about Summit's brand.

I have a RaceReady--because they offer a lifetime warranty. They run a few more bucks, but I figured that a lifetime warranty would be worth the extra $$$ over a 1 year warranty...

Or no cut-outs at all. No hassle of them breaking and warranties and no crawling to pull the plates. Problem solved.

Tyler, you're too old to have cut-outs.

Well i like them for the every now and then when i really wanna be heard i ran a stock 4thgen muffler on my 82 ta with a 3.5in i pipe and a cutout and it sounded good too me and plenty loud but some times id wanna ride through town and get some attention so id crawl under and open the cutout and it was a lot of fun. Ill prob throw a manual one on for now and see how i like it but id really like it once i cam it to really freak people out when i open it up at stop lights

what are the reasons ppl are saying hte QTP are junk?

ive seen a QTP that the allen screws needed tightend and after that it has worked with no issues.

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

I've seen motors burn out, sealing issues, a few people had the screws completely come out of the butterfly flap(the actual name escapes me).

just run straights like i did on my 06 w/ 5.3. LTs and straights dumped under the bed is awesome! .... or just keep it simple if you have to have a cut out and like someone already posted, wing nuts and a plate!
