    I bet that feels fun.
I tried to start the dyno run at the lowest possible mph, 45mph was it, up to 130mph, I wanted to see how much torque would be made around 2000rpms.

Can't wait to see what it does monday.

    or a G8 .............

    not to get off topic,

but I wonder why the G8's LS2 is only rated at 365hp and the GTO's at 400hp
    .... smaller cam i guess ???

I know , I know, we got the cam and headers in, all done on our part, damn dual spring kit from comp is missing the retainers, should be here this week.

btw, went ahead and ordered a ls7 clutch upgrade kit w/ aluminum flywheel
btw, got the 8ps pulley too, that'll be last.
I'll do a before and after with the al flywheel, but with a charger, heat is everything, so up or down 10hp is typical with back to back runs.

I thought I posted this elsewhere, GM and I had a discussion about this. I told them back in '05 when they were getting the ground work done for the new G8, that I had just bought my '05 GTO, and even though the G8 is going to have newer technology, I couldn't allow the G8 to produce more HP than my, used to be, brand new car.
So, after going back forth for months, it was decided that they would detune the calibration a bit and install a slightly less aggressive cam.

So there you have it, that's the reason.
